Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 2026

1. Overview

We understand that plans can change. This policy explains what happens when a confirmed trip is cancelled or amended, and the circumstances in which a refund may be issued. The specific cancellation terms for your booking are confirmed in your booking agreement; where they differ, the booking agreement prevails.

2. Cancellation by you

If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following charges may apply, based on the notice given before your arrival date:

  • More than 60 days before arrival — full refund less any non-refundable deposits and third-party costs incurred.
  • 30–60 days before arrival — 50% of the total trip cost is refundable.
  • 15–29 days before arrival — 25% of the total trip cost is refundable.
  • Less than 15 days before arrival — non-refundable, except as set out below.

3. Cancellation or changes by us

In the rare event that we must cancel or significantly alter your trip (for example, due to circumstances beyond our control), we will offer you a full refund of payments made, or the option to rebook for alternative dates or an alternative itinerary of equal value.

4. Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original method of payment where possible.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 14–21 business days of approval, subject to banking timelines.
  • Where a refund is owed, any third-party charges we cannot recover (such as park fees or internal flights already paid) may be deducted.

5. Non-refundable items

Certain costs are non-refundable once paid because they cannot be recovered from our partners. These may include, but are not limited to, national park entry fees, government permits, internal flight tickets and specific accommodation deposits. We will always tell you which parts of your trip are non-refundable before you confirm.

6. Amendments and rescheduling

We will do our best to accommodate date changes and itinerary amendments at no extra cost. Where a change incurs additional third-party costs, these will be passed on to you with prior notice.

7. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemic or pandemic restrictions, civil unrest or travel bans. In such cases we will work with you to reschedule or provide a refund of recoverable amounts.

8. How to request a cancellation or refund

To cancel or request a refund, please contact us in writing (email is preferred) with your booking reference and the reason. We will acknowledge your request and confirm the applicable terms promptly.
